The Celtic YouTube page has uploaded an exclusive clip revealing that Celtic welcomed their 15,000th child from the Kano Foundation into Paradise to watch the Bhoys play against St Johnstone on Saturday afternoon.
The Kano Foundation has been working with Celtic since 2010 to bring kids who may not be able to afford tickets to a game to watch the Hoops play for free.
Shame about the result but a great day at Celtic Park for youngest’s first game! 🍀🥰
Great to see you @KanoFoundation and congrats on the 15,000th child! Fantastic! pic.twitter.com/o5eNFMdUB2— Dave MacCormick #teamholyrood (@DaveMaccormick) August 26, 2023
The experience of attending a packed Paradise with the Hoops playing and the noise of the fans is a joyful and thrilling affair. This is why the brilliant Kano Foundation is dedicated to providing this experience to kids who could miss out.
Last weekend marked the 15,000th child to be brought to Parkhead for a match for free. However, it’s worth noting that the 15,000th child was brought to watch Celtic’s performance against St Johnstone, so maybe they didn’t get the ‘usual’ Celtic experience unfortunately. Can’t win them all and hopefully they’ll all be desperate to get back to Paradise to see Celtic putting on the style.
Wow! 🥳
What a weekend celebrating our 15,000th kid through the turnstiles.Thank you to everyone who has supported us in any way over the years – every penny & gesture goes towards creating days like Saturday!

Congratulations to @KanoFoundation on bringing their 15,000 child to watch the famous Glasgow Celtic.
If you can like me, set up a monthly donation of whatever you can afford. Give a child the gift of Celtic! pic.twitter.com/NXIwW3Jt0h— Frankie McGinnes (@FrankieMcGinnes) August 26, 2023
