Celtic today confirmed a long term ‘landmark extension’ of the club’s partnership with kit supplier adidas which is believed to last for a decade and provide additional revenues of well over £30m…

This is the most lucrative deal of its kind every in Scottish football and it propels Celtic even further ahead of any domestic challengers while providing additional resources for the club aiming to make a season-on-season impact in the UEFA Champions League, hopefully under the guidance of Brendan Rodgers.
Additional revenues of well over £30m anticipated
With additional revenues of well over £30m anticipated from this deal Celtic is clearly the most successful club in Scotland on and off the park. Indeed if you were to add together the total revenues from the other eleven clubs in the Scottish Premiership – including theRangers – that would add to to a small fraction of the total Celtic are now achieving with a global partner and with a winning formula within the partnership which has been great news for Celtic, adidas and indeed the Celtic support.
Here’s how Celtic broke the news on the official club website this morning….

Celtic Football Club is delighted to announce a landmark extension of our partnership with adidas, continuing our journey together as the club’s official kit supplier…
This new long-term agreement will see adidas continuing to deliver world-class designs for our first team and training wear across both the men’s and women’s squads. They will also continue to create the fan wear that unites our incredible supporters under the iconic green and white.
adidas is the trusted supplier of football’s most prestigious tournaments like the FIFA World Cup, UEFA EURO, and UEFA Champions League. As well as its great association with Celtic, the sports brand partners with some of the world’s other top clubs including Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Juventus.
For Celtic, the extension of this partnership with such a world-renowned brand cements the club’s place as an iconic name in sport globally.
Shared passion for the game and our commitment to excellence
This renewed partnership celebrates our shared passion for the game and our commitment to excellence, as we proudly represent Celtic’s legacy on the global stage.

Celtic Chief Executive Michael Nicholson said: “We are delighted to announce this extension to our fantastic partnership. We have enjoyed a hugely successful relationship with adidas, one of the world’s leading sports brands and an organisation of real quality and excellence.
This great association really reflects the strength and stability of the Club
“Now, to be able to further extend this great association really reflects the strength and stability of the Club and the power of our enduring relationship. This is a hugely significant announcement for Celtic, the biggest official kit supplier partnership in the club’s history and one we are sure will delight our supporters worldwide allowing us to look to the future together with confidence.”

adidas commented: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with this iconic and legendary football club, with such a passionate and dedicated global community of supporters.
“The club has seen great success on and off the pitch across all teams over the last four years, and we look forward to the next stage in our partnership.”

There was a leaked image, which we reported on last night via Lubo98, which appears to show the Celtic shirt for next season. As always there have been mixed opinions on this but what we have learned over the past number of years is that it’s best to wait until you see it on display in the Celtic Superstore before you make your minds up.

Celtic also recently signed a lucrative three-year shirt sponsorship extension with Dafabet
Celtic a few months ago also confirmed that they had signed a significant three-year extension with front-of-shirt sponsors Dafabet, which again is the most lucrative short sponsorship deal in Scottish football.

Is this 30 million over 10 years ?
If so this is nothing to brag about from Michael Nicholson et all
5 million more fir an extra five years
This is more like a deal Neil Doncaster would achieve
Extra £30m at least…
