This is Yatao – Kyogo Furuhashi’s message to youngsters who aim to become footballers

Daisuke Nasu, a former footballer who played with Kyogo Furuhashi at Vissel Kobe, released a video of talk session with Kyogo on YouTube this week. After looking back on experience that was never smooth sailing from childhood to being a professional footballer, Kyogo gave the following message to children who aim to become footballers…

Daisuke Nasu: “You are exactly a role model who has been working hard steadily for a long time. Could you give a message to the children who are aiming to be footballers, including what you have cherished so far.”

Kyogo Furuhashi: “First of all, I want you to cherish enjoying football purely. Secondly, please keep working hard it towards your goal. Of course, I think many children are working on it. I’m lucky enough to be able to live while doing what I love as a profession now, but even if it’s a life that doesn’t come true, I believe that what I’ve been working hard for will definitely utilise other things.

“So I want you to do your best to the extent that you can without giving up on the way. As a footballer, I also want to make many people smile by the results I achieve without making complaints, and I want to show everyone my attitude as a good role model.”

That’s all. On this YouTube channel, another video looking back on Kyogo Furuhashi’s career will be released in a few days. By the way, Daisuke Nasu became the official supporter of Celtic Japan Tour.

He is planning to watch Celtic’s performance at stadiums. I’m looking forward to Kyogo’s performance in front of former teammates and J.League fans who have seen his development for some years in Japan.
