Former Celtic star Tom Rogic has reportedly rejected a big-money move to Indonesia. The 29-year-old left Paradise at the end of the 2021/22 season with 16 domestic honours from his nine-and-a-half years in Glasgow’s East End.

According to The Scottish Sun, Rogic has rejected a move to Indonesia and Persija Jakarta with several A-League clubs keen to bring the attacking midfielder back to his native land. Rogic will be keen to get a new club sorted with the Australians sealing their place in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Wizard of Oz was a big game player, he was able to turn games with a flick of the switch. This season especially, he has been brilliant. His late assist in Dingwall stands out. The player was able to make a decision about his future and it is telling that Celtic have respected this wish as the player looks to take his next step after Paradise.

Rogic was signed for just $400k Australian dollars and has proven to be priceless, conjuring up some incredible moments in his time with the club. Tam has scored 44 times and assisted 47 times in his time at the club but brings so much to the team, bringing the best out in his teammates.

It will be interesting to see where Rogic ends up next. A move back to Australia would undoubtedly make sense for him but the player would like still be able to compete in Europe should he still want to.
