Unique Angle – Starting Eleven 1-4 Subs Bench (plus a Hakšabanović assist)

Sead Hakšabanović got an assist, Oh his first goal for Celtic, Matt O’Riley his first goal of the season (he’s had more assists than anyone else in the Scottish Premiership) and Reo Hatate got a double, making yesterday perhaps the best ever return from a Celtic substitutes bench ever, with four goals and an assist.

Watch it all unfold in the Unique Angle from Celtic TV this morning after what was an extra special day at Celtic Park, with the Green Brigade producing the best VAR decision of the season, hats tipped Bhoys and Ghirls…

Some of the comments…

‘Some cracking goals and a fantastic game between two well organised teams who were up for it!’…’Oh my god is on the scoresheet. Hatate is amazing and Monk Maeda continually delivered good contribution to the team’…’I think Matt needed a break from the pressure after the curveball of playing deeper and then not really adjusting back to his normal game…he might have been disappointed at Mooy starting so much lately, but Mooy performing so well also eases some of the expectation on Matt.. letting him come on for 30 minutes, team ahead, and just relax and start to enjoy himself again.’

‘So happy for Matt. That goal woulda done wonders for his personal game’…’What a team!’…’The bhoy OH got his first goal brilliant’…The Japanese influence on Celtic is simply magical. Domo arigato gozaimasu”…’OH Oh he’s off the mark’…

And this from Celticbhoy 1993…

Not that we don’t think Maeda’s great, but imo the most underrated player we’ve had in a long time! still young only 25? contributes so much with his pressing, crosses, goals, work rate and his fitness levels are through the roof. age wise He’s arguably not even hit his prime yet.

Oh has so much potential at just 21, fits our system perfectly, still early days but an upgrade on Gio already I feel, he loves a scrap, wins back the ball up the pitch, more mobile, and I’m certain many more goals will come! First of many. 102 goals scored already this season!

St Mirren came out with positive tactics to disrupt and stop our flow and frustrate us, never let us feel comfortable for 70 mins and we win 5-1! Very Harsh on them as they actually played very well and in a positive manner unlike Livi last week.. but hey we’re just lucky.”
