Unique Angle – The form we have found since Fran has been around

Another Unique Angle for you to enjoy, this time from Petershill Park, in Glasgow which is the home of current SWPL1 leaders Glasgow City. Fran Alonso took his Celtic FC Women side there yesterday afternoon knowing that nothing less than a victory would do with City already eights points clear in the race for the title.

Celtic were outstanding in every regard – with the exception of penalty kicks where we managed to miss two – but that in itself shows the dominant nature of this Celtic performance with the goals coming from Natalie Ross, Caitlin Hayes and a double from the ‘Goal Machine’ Tash Flint.

Celtic are away to Hearts on Wednesday night before taking on Glasgow City at Hampden this weekend in the Scottish Cup semi-final. All the focus will be on Hearts for now with Fran Alonso yesterday admitting that he is concerned with this one given the effort his side put in yesterday and with Hearts well rested after not playing at the weekend.

Meanwhile back at Petershill Park on Wednesday night Glasgow City’s title resolve will be tested by current Champions theRangers who are desperately chasing their own cause of winning one of the two Champions League spots.

We’ve all got a midweek pass on Wednesday night to cheer on theRangers as a win for them, coupled with a Celtic victory in Edinburgh would be a brilliant outcome for this Celtic side chasing a first ever SWPL1 title.

Enjoy the Unique Angle…

Cant agree imo a draw between the blue n orange huns suits us best , a win for the thug coachs team will turn it back into a three horse race, and hopfully hearts are more concerned with thier next game after us , that being the edin derby , hail hail COYGIG
