Celtic’s USA Tour 2024 got off to a great start last night against DC United in the capital city of The United States as Celtic’s first pre-season build-up went up a notch.

Goals from Mikey Johnston (who also missed a penalty), James Forrest and a double from skipper for the day Matt O’Riley gave Celtic an impressive 4-0 win which was a welcome reverse of the scoreline from Celtic’s last match in the States against DC United back in the summer 2007.

Brendan Rodgers was clearly delighted with this team’s performance in a match that could have seen the Hoops hit many more goals.
