Celtic recovered from the early shock of Eamonn Brophy’s penalty to go in at half time up 2-1.

As the crowd heard of an equaliser in Perth, Killie went ahead as Simunovic brought down the Killie striker.

Celtic went on the ascendency and began to push for an equaliser. Much like last week in Aberdeen, the goal came from an unlikely source as Kris Ajer smashed the ball into the goal after Jullien’s cutback.

Celtic got their second before the break as Jozo Simunovic met a Greg Taylor cross to tee up Odsonne Edouard, who managed to use Kirk Broadfoot to beat the keeper.

Hopefully more goals to come in the second half as Celtic look to consolidate their new 12 point lead at the top of the table following Rangers’ draw at McDiarmid Park earlier today.
