2020 has shone a light on the importance of football fans to the sport. Nowhere is the presence of supporters missed more than at Celtic Park. The supporters are the lifeblood of the club, encapsulating the cultural, political and charitable dimensions of Celtic’s identity and also providing passionate fervour for the game of football itself.

It’s just over four years to the day since the Safe Standing section got properly underway with the Champions League Play-Off against Hapoel Be’er Sheva. What Paradise witnessed was an explosion of colour, political statement and football atmosphere for the first time since the days of the Jungle.

How great days like this will be if and when they ever return.
