Well that was eventful, The Celtic Star Editor kicked off today’s fan media conference with new Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou and incoming CEO Dom McKay by marking the Australian’s card regarding the ‘standard’ of refereeing he’s likely to encounter and the bias that is apparent throughout the Scottish FA towards one club and against ours.

Ange certainly can’t say that he’s not been warmed about some of the ‘unique’ aspects of football in Scotland.

Postecoglou was given a warm reception by the fans media who asked plenty of interesting questions and the pair on the stage seemed at ease speaking to the support. Compare and contrast to the broadcast media, where the BBC immediately disgraced themselves and the mainstream media conference which followed at the end after the fans media conference.

The three conferences were certainly different in content and atmosphere. Ange warmed to the supporters and was left with a better understanding that the Celtic support was fully behind him in the job. This perhaps surprised him and it certainly pleased the new manager. He never got any of that from the hacks.

Listen for yourselves.
