Ange Postecoglou is looking forward to getting started as Celtic manager after completing his isolation period in London. The 55-year-old travelled from Japan to the UK last week and has now completed the required quarantine, freeing him up to meet with Dominic McKay and visit Wembley for the game between Scotland and England tonight.

However, the Australian spoke to Celtic’s podcast about his plans for pre-season and his hopes for the season. The ex-Brisbane Roar boss has been working away during isolation and hopes that he will be able to get his ideas across when he meets up with the players and staff in person next week.

Ange speaks so well, his ideas and mannerisms are reassuring whilst conveying how tough he may be. He has been appointed with his back against the wall but he can make himself a favourite with the support by hitting the ground running.
