Ben Wylie was the match-winner yesterday as Celtic beat Gretna 2008 at the Penny Cars stadium. The 73rd-minute strike was the only goal on Saturday afternoon but a result that Tommy McIntyre’s team sorely needed to continue their ascent up the table.

Thanks to our friends at The Celts Are Here, Wylie’s goal has been caught on camera scoring with an incredible effort.

Celtic dominated proceedings but the stubborn defence of Gretna held firm. It looked as if it would be a case of what could have been had the youngster not take control and smashed his effort goalwards.

CELTIC: Mullen, Jackson (Deane 59), Paterson, Easton, Robertson, Murphy, Davidson, Wylie, Moffat, Letsosa, Summers (Anderson 64).
Subs: Morrison, Quinn, Mackenzie
