There was a huge push for VAR at the start of last season when it promised to cut out mistakes and reduce the amount of controversial decisions in games.
Unfortunately that hasn’t been the case and it just seems to cause more problems if anything. Celtic found out the hard way what it’s like when it goes against you tonight, after a penalty decision was overturned.
It’s actually hard to tell if it’s the right call, it’s a borderline decision on the edge of the box and each angle makes you think something different:

It’s possibly the right decision and it’s easy to be magnanimous when the result doesn’t matter, but it’s another reminder of how the system isn’t always conclusive.
