Brendan Rodgers made a brilliant comment following Celtic’s 5-0 win over Buckie Thistle. The Scottish Champions were denied a penalty within five minutes after Liel Abada was clattered in the box; however, the spot kick was not awarded as the winger was offside.
Speaking after the game, Rodgers aimed a cheeky dig at the Ibrox club – who spent weeks crying about not getting a penalty in the Glasgow Derby at the end of December.

Rangers went into meltdown after Alistair Johnston’s apparent handball wasn’t given by officials sparking a furious campaign by Rangers and their agents. The furore has died down, however, Rodgers has taken a chance to put a dig in at the rivals.
The Hoops face Ross County at Celtic Park next weekend in the first Premiership game after the break.
