Video: Brilliant moment Celtic presented with trophy by Santa

Celtic made headlines in the run up to Christmas after Santa Claus was booed during a half time cameo in the defeat to Hearts. Most felt bad that the veteran toymaker was left feeling unwanted during his appearance that there were loud calls to get him back to present the trophy.

The club obliged and Santa made a rare appearance in May. Santa was welcomed onto the pitch to a standing ovation as the club prepared to lift their third successive title.

The Scottish Champions will enjoy their celebrations tonight before preparations turn towards next weekend’s Cup Final against Rangers.

  1. Trophy day is all about a joyful occasion when the title is already secured.
Chris Sutton set the tone with the hilarious cardboard cut out of the bitter fat Hun eejit on sky?
The football usually is a secondary element to the day, yet the moments of class were still able to be produced with the 3 goals also?
Absolutely brilliant gesture with getting santa back for the trophy lift, so funny and added brilliantly for such an occasion also imo?
And to add to such a fabulous day, the scum managed to drop more points, so the overall look of the table has a more appropriate look to it with an 8 point cushion, which would have been about right before the start of the season imo?
So the gap is actually growing since the arrival of the Belgium waffler and his bullshit?
And it stands to grow even further, starting with next weekend to make this season a double winning season after all?
Just like santa double appearance at paradise this season?
