CELTIC were 3-0 winners in the Glasgow Cup clash versus Rangers yesterday with goals coming from Armstrong Oko-Flex and two from Cameron Harper. The day before, Jose Mourinho’s Spurs showed the power of the counterattack and Celtic’s first two were the result of brilliant team play from defence to attack as the youngsters flexed their muscles against their Glasgow rivals.
Mikey Johnston got the opportunity to get some minutes under his belt and this will be promising for Neil Lennon, who looks to rescue the first team’s poor run of form.
CELTIC: Olewayemi, Otoo, Montgomery, Murray, Welsh (McPherson 55), Connell, Harper, Coffey, Oko-flex, Dembele, Johnston (Moffat 46).
Subs: Angelini, Wylie, Carse, Brooks, Davidson
