Nir Bitton sealed the points for Celtic in Perth this afternoon after taking a Tom Rogic pass before firing the ball into the net. Captaining the side in the absence of Callum McGregor, Bitton has been excellent at the heart of the midfield and got his rewards scoring his first goal of the season.

Liel Abada scored two before half time before Chris Kane pulled one back in the second half. This rare goal from the Saints threatened to set up a nervy finish but Rogic and Bitton, two of the senior pros on show at McDiarmid Park, ensured that Celtic would be going into the Winter Break with a win.

Rogic has now been involved in six out of the twelve goals scored this month. A phenomenal return for the Australian in a time where the team have needed him.
