Video – Celtic captain Callum McGregor speaking to Celtic Fan Media

A few weeks back when Callum McGregor signed his new contract at the club there was a hastily arranged fan media conference with the Celtic captain which many sites and podcasts couldn’t attend due to the short notice.

Celtic promised that they’d give the Celtic Fan Media another opportunity to speak to the Celtic captain to mark his commitment to remain at the club and that happened this afternoon.

The format was one quest each per site/podcast and The Celtic Star wanted to know which goal scored and game played in are the most memorable for him? You’ll hear his answers below.

Plenty on tactics, the squad attitude no as opposed to twelve months ago, the difference Ange has made and the recent subtle tactical change that is giving Celtic an advantage and resulting in teams increasing opting to sit deep against us. The Celtic captain also revealed that ahead of the Ferencvaros match last Tuesday afternoon he told the players that the fans had done their job by turning up in huge numbers despite the kick-off time so it was now up to the players to do their job and win the match.  That’s the captain of Celtic talking!

Plenty of confidence in evidence from the likeable, intelligent, straight talking and humble guy who just loves playing his football for Celtic. Well tutored by Scott Brown, Callum McGregor is looking like becoming a tremendous club captain for Celtic.

Here’s how Callum McGregor got on speaking to The Celtic Fan Media…you have a choice here, listen to the version recorded by The Celtic Star, sound might not be as good, no HD and all that stuff but you get to see the fan media participants asking the questions or you can watch the more polished version supplied by Celtic. Of course you are free to watch them both and compare!
