A cup final and the chance to win a first trophy under Ange Postecoglou was always likely to the raise the voices of the Celtic support. Right from the pre-match build up the fans did not disappoint. Hampden Park shook to its foundations amid sounds of “Everywhere we go, watching Glasgow Celtic putting on a show,” and a host of Celtic songs and Irish ballads. It was an occasion to behold.

The spark which initially ignited the support was when the Celtic end was lit up by the Green Brigade Ultras, located behind the goal. Fortunately the scene was caught on camera and it makes for fine viewing.

That stunning pyrotechnic display set the scene for an explosive 90 minutes, with the noise only abating for one minute in the second half. Undoubtedly, the players responded to the atmosphere with the likes of Joe Hart commenting on the experience, and the team dominating the game. That said, cup finals are never easy and the Bhoys did have to come from behind to lift the trophy. In doing so, the stage was set for some memorable celebrations… much of which were captured by the magnificent RonnieJ67 YouTube channel.
