Celtic have introduced new First Team coach Adam Sadler during a clip from the first team training session on Friday at Lennoxtown. Sadler arrived having previously worked with Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City and will be looking to continue the work done by Harry Kewell, who departed to become Yokohama F Marinos manager.

In the clip posted on the club’s YouTube, Sadler can be seen in a prominent role in the session, which isn’t surprising as he worked with Rodgers for four years.

It is good that Rodgers brought someone in that was ‘his coach’ as they will be used to his style, training methods and be able to help bring uniformity around the first team. It remains to be seen whether his role will be one of an attacking role or a more general coaching role.

Celtic fans will be eager to see that the first team playing staff is strengthened in the next few weeks along with Nicolas Kuhn, who is expected to arrive from Rapid Vienna.
