Eddie Howe has made another TV appearance as he continues to be linked with the Celtic managerial vacancy. The 43-year-old was a pundit ahead of Leeds v Liverpool in The English Premier League and was asked his opinion on the European Super League, of which Liverpool are a founding member.

Howe is out of work after leaving Bournemouth in the summer. He is being courted by a number of English Premier League sides but Celtic are the favourites to bring him in as a manager to replace Neil Lennon, who left in March.

Brendan Rodgers is reportedly talking to Howe about the prospect of becoming the next Celtic manager. Rodgers was an instrumental in the success of the last few years and it is a case of what could of been as he sits in the Top 4 with Leicester City. Meanwhile Celtic will look to rebuild under Dominic McKay, a new Director of Football and a new manager with the chance to knock Rangers off their newly found perch.
