Video: Celtic youngster scores for Scotland’s U21s

Celtic youngster Dane Murray has scored for Scotland’s U21s this evening. The young central defender started at the back in the game against Malta.

The 21-year-old made the most of a great free kick from Motherwell’s Lennon Miller to header the ball into the net.

Murray was given his Celtic debut by Ange Postecoglou in his first season, impressing against FC Midtjylland. Injuries prevented the player kicking on but Celtic handed the player a new contract in the summer, showing that Brendan was a fan of the B team star. Now, Murray will be hoping to impress with Queen’s Park in order to earn a return to the Celtic first team.
