Video: Celtic’s Football for Good Fund continues to support those in need

The Celtic Foundation’s Chief Executive, Tony Hamilton, has given supporters an update on the organisation’s efforts to mitigate the impact of Coronavirus in the hardest hit in the local community.

Back in December, The Football for Good fund surpassed £1m. This unbelievable feat has been achieved by fundraising around the festive period, which has alone raised £250k to try and support the vulnerable in society. The club’s charitable arm has been active in promoting the fundamentals upon which Celtic were founded and this year, they have been able to support those that need help in the local community.
The Celtic Foundation confirmed in December that numerous charities would benefit as a result of the generosity from supporters amidst the uncertainty created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Credit to those that supported the campaign and helped contribute to making what is supposed to be a special time of year, a little bit easier amidst the tough restrictions and uncertainty about when they will be lifted.
