Celtic fans have been watching curiously to the progress of their European rivals – Atletico Madrid, Lazio and Feyenoord. The Spanish side are currently hosting Carlo Ancelotti’s team in a Madrid Derby.
After twenty five minutes, Atletico are 2-0 up after goals from Morata and Griezmann.
Celtic face Lazio on Matchday Two of the UEFA Champions League on the 4th of October before the a doubleheader against the La Liga side. Celtic were beaten home and away by Ancelotti’s team in last season’s UCL. Diego Simeone’s side will likely prove to be a very difficult opponent for Celtic and are, really, the best team in the group.
