Daizen Maeda opened the scoring for Celtic this afternoon with an excellent finish. The Japanese Internationalist capitalised on a loose pass from Alfredo Morelos, allowing Maeda to push through, beat James Tavernier and fire the ball beyond Allan McGregor.

Maeda has been mightily impressive since returning from the World Cup. The goal at Easter Road showed that he was playing with a lot of confidence and that will be amplified with the goal here.
It is a strong start from Celtic, who have an extremely strong bench should Ange require to make changes as the game goes on.
