Aberdeen are on a horrible run of results and they can’t seem to score just now, so it was always going to be important to get an early goal and crush their spirits even further.

There’s a lot to like about this Celtic goal as it’s played from the back and they pass it through Aberdeen, while the finish from David Turnbull is top class:

Scott Bain also deserves a bit of credit for picking the pass when he’s got someone pressing him, but Aberdeen are wide open as there’s nothing to back up that initial press and there will be more joy for Celtic if they keep playing like that.
