Vissel Kobe have released a farewell video for Kyogo Furuhashi as the striker departs the J-League club for Celtic. The 26-year-old was announced as a Celtic player on Friday but the player played in his final game on Saturday, scoring too, with a farewell ceremony yesterday.

The Japanese club also released a ‘Behind the Scenes’ video of Furuhashi’s last game for the club. In the J-League, Furuhashi scored 42 goals in 95 appearances whilst assisting 17 times. If he can replicate this form in Glasgow, he will be as adored as he clearly is back in his home country.
Ange clearly knows him from his time in the country and it will be interesting to see whether he wants to utilise Furuhashi alongside Albian Ajeti in attack or whether he will pursue the strategy of one upfront.
The player is a left winger, not a striker.
He can play both positions
