Celtic moved four points clear of Rangers and retained their place at the top of the Cinch Premiership with a win at Ibrox. Kyogo’s first half strike was enough to seal the three points and the bragging rights in Glasgow as Brendan Rodgers announced his return to the fixture with a victory.

As a makeshift Celtic defence held firm, the home supporters became increasingly irate and their frustrations towards Michael Beale and his team boiled over at full-time as they serenaded their team with boos. There was clearly a toxic atmosphere as Celtic celebrated with no fans.

Rangers proceeded to do a lap of honour and were booed by their fans until they went up the tunnel.
