Celtic are 2-0 up in Paisley after Matt O’Riley doubled the lead against St Mirren. Just a few minutes after assisting Daizen Maeda to take the lead, O’Riley benefited from unselfish play from Paulo Bernardo, to take a touch and drill a shot between the legs of Hemming to make it 2-0.

Luis Palma played it into Bernardo, who turned brilliantly and, rather than forcing a shot, played the ball to his midfield colleague who celebrated his 100th appearance for the club with a goal.

Celtic will be keen to continue this fast start and close off the first half of the season with a win at a potentially hazardous away win.
