Motherwell midfielder Andy Halliday has revealed what Brendan Rodgers said to him after the meeting between sides at Celtic Park last month. The Scottish Champions beat the visitors from Fir Park 4-0 on Boxing Day but there was a moment at Full Time when Brendan and the ex-Rangers player spoke on the pitch.
Speaking to Open Goal, Si Ferry asked Halliday what was said and the 33-year-old revealed what the Irishman said, poking fun at his Clyde SSB appearances.

Halliday then went onto comment about the strength that Brendan put into the clap on the player’s cheek as the shared a jovial moment. Celtic were dominant as they beat Motherwell with Halliday being brought off the bench.
