CELTIC came out 3-0 winners in a routine victory over Motherwell. The first half was uneventful as a striker-less Celtic produced a passive 45 minutes expect for a wonderful strike from James Forrest. The wideman stepped inside and rattled an effort beyond Trevor Carson.
The second half saw Neil Lennon bring on a striker and Celtic appeared to go up a gear as well as turning into a 3-5-2. The move allowed Christie to come deep and Klimala’s hold up play helped the Scottish Champions create more chances and eventually score again.
Albian Ajeti made it two from two in the league with a tidy finished as he found himself unmarked in the box. Jullien made it three with a striker’s finish to wrap up the win and send Neil Lennon’s men into the International break with three points.
