Celtic were well beaten by Bodø/Glimt in the Europa Conference League as the Norwegian Champions made sure that Ange Postecoglou’s side couldn’t find their flow under the lights at Paradise. The visitors exploited Celtic’s weaknesses down the left-hand side for two goals whilst the third came from a wicked deflection.

Greg Taylor steps up too early as Celtic’s midfield were overrun. Tom Rogic and Matt O’Riley didn’t have the legs to keep up with the Norwegians and with Taylor stepping up, the opener was scored by Espejord. The second came as Taylor was beaten too easily and a lovely flick allowed the visitors to go 2-0 up thanks to Pellegrino. Maeda pulled one back through a lovely header after Juranovic floated a ball in. It was 3-1 and first leg over as Vetlesen smashed the ball against Callum McGregor and it looped over Joe Hart.

Celtic need just 2 goals to take the game to extra time next week. The tie isn’t dead but you can clearly see that Bodø/Glimt are a well-drilled side.
