Celtic were held to a 0-0 draw at home to Livingston as Ange Postecoglou’s side spurned the chance to go top. Despite the enormous amount of possession that the Celts had, they struggled to fashion many chances until later into the game.

Giorgos Giakoumakis missed a penalty in stoppage time which would’ve sent Celtic top of the table, until at least today. The Greek was too casual in his approach but replays appear to suggest that the penalty should have been retaken. The Greek had another chance at the back post but he sent it wide after the returning James Forrest failed to connect with a Mikey Johnston cross.

The game was an extremely frustrating watch as Livi had no intentions of escaping their own half. The manager will need to address this ahead of the trip to Dens Park next weekend but first he will be fully focused on the game in Hungary.
