Scotland took a point from the potentially hazardous away game against Georgia in Tbilisi. Goals from Scott McTominay and Lawrence Shankland meant that Steve Clarke would mark his 50th game with a draw.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia gave the hosts the lead but Clarke’s team grew back into the game. The Napoli winger was a constant thorn in the Scots side but control in the game increased and in the second half, Scott McTominay made it 1-1.

Kvarastskhelia made it 2-1 shortly afterwards and Scotland pushed forward in the hunt of an equaliser. Lawrence Shankland made the most of his call-up by directing a header goalwards and leveling the game up in injury time.
