On This Day throughout the years, Celtic have scored some incredible goals. Thanks to Lilze_7 on Twitter, we are able to revisit and relive some of them.

2017 – Inverness CT 0 Celtic 4

Brendan Rodgers’ side travelled to the Highlands to face Inverness, where they had drawn back in September. It was Scott Sinclair that scored the opener with an excellent shot into the corner in the first half. Into the second half, Celtic came alive, a brace from Moussa Dembele sandwiched a free-kick from Stuart Armstrong to give Celtic all three points.

2014 – Celtic 5 Inverness CT 0

Neil Lennon’s Celtic completed a comprehensive win over Inverness CT thanks to a hat-trick from Leigh Griffiths as well as strikes from Charlie Mulgrew and Kris Commons.

2008 – Hibernian 0 Celtic 2

Gordon Strachan’s team sealed maximum points at a difficult away venue. Lee Naylor, of all people, opened the scoring with a drive and finish. He was involved with the second too, playing in Aiden McGeady, whos cross found Samaras.

2000 – Celtic 6 Dundee 2

Dr Jo’s Celts blew away Dundee at Celtic Park with a Tommy Johnson hat-trick, Mark Viduka netting a brace along with Stan Petrov’s first Celtic goal.

1997 – Celtic 2 Hearts 0

Jorge Cadete and Paolo Di Canio scored as Tommy Burns’ Celtic beat Hearts.

1975 – Celtic 3 Partick Thistle 2

Harry Hood scored an excellent goal in the last minute as Celtic beat Partick Thistle.
