Luke McCowan sealed a sensational deadline day move to Celtic last night. The 26-year-old completed a £1m move as the Greenock-born midfielder signed for the Scottish Champions.
It was clearly a dream come true for McCowan and he beamed as he was pictured coming through the Celtic tunnel and entering into the pitch.
It is a moment that a lot of supporters could relate to. In 2017, Ian McCall spotted the player and gave him a chance at Ayr United. He impressed there before making the switch to Dundee. The upward trajectory continued taking him to Celtic to play in the midfield.
McCowan impressed with Tony Docherty at Dundee, resulting in the midfielder earning a move to Celtic. He will hope to be involved in the squad for the Glasgow Derby tomorrow.
