Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart reacted to the team’s dramatic late win on social media. Taking to Instagram, the former Man City stopper was full of praise for match winner, Matt O’Riley.

The 36-year-old wasn’t involved today owing to a suspension picked up last weekend meaning he watched from home. However, as we have seen, the big goalie loves it and would’ve been jumping up and down like the rest of us when the Danish midfielder popped up at the back post.

Luis Palma scored after 88 minutes before Blair Spittal’s 95th minute strike looked to have sealed the point for the hosts. But, Celtic weren’t done there when Matt O’Riley found himself on the end of a Greg Taylor across to win it for Celtic.

Meanwhile Thursday 19 October is going to be a very special day for The Celtic Star so please save the date…

John Hartson will be The Celtic Star’s guest of honour as we celebrate the launch of Matt Corr’s new book Majic, Stan and the King of Japan on Thursday 19th October at the Kerrydale Suite at Celtic Park. More information on the night and ticket details to follow…. Majic, Stan and the King of Japan tells the story of Gordon Strachan’s first dramatic and ultimately highly successful first season as Celtic manager and it was of course Big Bad John who scored the goal that won the league!
