John Kennedy spoke to the media conference ahead of the clash between Celtic and Livingston at Celtic Park on Saturday. The interim Celtic boss was asked about the Scottish Cup draw, Leigh Griffiths’ contract and the rumours about Eddie Howe becoming the new manager. Celtic have just the Scottish Cup to play for after a poor season.

Kennedy speaks very well, he is a calm and composed individual that has steadied the ship. He has earned a lot of stick, which appears partially unfounded due to his position as Assistant to Neil Lennon. Although, Kennedy spent his pupilage under Ronny Deila and Brendan Rodgers before moving to the No.2 position under Lennon. Hopefully he will be able to be retained under the new management team as he appears to have the tools to become a future Celtic manager.
