Kasper Schmeichel received a warm reception as he arrived at Audi Field for Celtic’s game against DC United. The Danish goalkeeper signed a one year deal during the week to become the new No.1.
Larry Henry Jr, who is covering the games for The Celtic Star, was in attendance to catch the reception from the travelling Celtic support.

Schmeichel will be the club’s new No.1 taking over from Joe Hart, who retired at the end of last season. The pair are friends from their days at Man City and the Englishman could have been a factor in bringing the Premier League winner to Celtic.
