CELTIC PARK has become the scene if a drawn out battle between the club and supporters posting messages on the perimeter fences that officials would then be forced to take down tomorrow. However, the latest signs and banners put up around the ground display anti-board messages.
The messages were predominately that of Celtic FC not PLC but the latest decision by the club has been to back Neil Lennon to deliver success. One banner though is well out of order and should be removed. Sack the Board is a sentiment that many Celtic fans can relate to at the moment but Shoot the Board really is not going to be tolerated or supported and will be counter productive to say the least.

With the title still within our grasp, the team need to be backed to the hilt even if the support can rightfully question whether the board are capable of successfully managing the club and listening to the support. This issue isn’t going away and the club need to have dialogue with the supporters that are rightfully aggrieved at putting their hands in their pocket at the height of the pandemic.
Celtic face Lille on Thursday, a game which has meaning only as Celtic look to avoid the worst defensive record in the competition.
