Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay name checked Celtic in a recent Q&A. The Scotland Internationalist was asked about stadiums outside of England and mentioned the home of the Scottish Champions.

There has been some suggestion that McTominay has some Celtic supporting routes from his connection to Scotland through his grandfather.
Celtic made two moves to bring McTominay in on loan in Brendan Rodgers’ first spell as well as last summer. However, no deal transpired as respective United managers decided to retain the player.
McTominay will likely be at the heart of the Scotland midfield in Germany with Celtic skipper Callum McGregor as Steve Clarke’s side look to come out the group.
