MARTIN O’NEILL is one of Celtic’s most successful managers of recent times with his reign at the beginning of the 21st Century signifying a power-shift. The Irishman came to the helm in May 2000, leaving Leicester City, and enjoyed five years with the club.
Whilst O’Neill’s trophy haul could have been greater, the ex-Nottingham Forest player still had a staggering record and O’Neill spoke to Peter Martin about his time in Glasgow on PLZ Soccer.
Ranging from that final in Seville to departing the club in 2005, O’Neill discussed a series of different topics – including his worst signing and how Neil Lennon’s coaching career has fared.
The interview is a must watch. O’Neill is fondly remembered by the Celtic supporters, giving us some incredible moments – including the run to Seville.
