Matt O’Riley scored for Celtic this evening as Ange Postecoglou’s side face Rapid Vienna in Austria. The game has been played like a European Qualifier and the manager will be pleased with the quality of his team at this early stage of pre-season.
O’Riley struck with the clock just over 9 minutes and it was a very tidy finish from the Denmark U21 Internationalist.
The midfielder joined from MK Dons in January and was a revelation. It didn’t appear apparent at the time but the ex-Fulham youngster was marked as being an heir to Tom Rogic in the Celtic midfield.
