NEIL LENNON has spoken about the club’s latest title as Celtic won 9IAR following confirmation from the SPFL earlier today. Speaking to Celtic TV, the manager of the Scottish Champions shared his delight at being crowned winners for a 9th consecutive season even if the club missed out on celebrations.
Celtic were 13 points clear when the league was curtailed due to the global pandemic and in these unprecedented circumstances, the supporters have had to concede the celebrations of a record equalling 9IAR.
Congratulations to Lenny, he came back despite not being everyone’s first pick, he delivered a Treble Treble and has achieved (at least) a double this season. The man that started the current run will hopefully be the man that finishes it next season.
The football this season has been breathtaking and I am sure he will be as excited as we are at the prospect of pushing for the 10.
