IT was a tough day for Celtic on Wednesday, losing to Ferencvaros and having Neil Lennon unleash a tirade against wantaway stars. The Irishman pulled no punches in his post match interviews but two days later, Lennon appears to have calmed down.

The news that the club had signed David Turnbull will have no doubt cheered him up but during the media conference ahead of Sunday’s visit from Motherwell, Lennon performed a U-turn. The manager said he wanted harmony and his best players to stay at the club.
