On 16 February 2000, Celtic faced Kilmarnock in the League Cup semi-final. It was a turgid affair, only sparked into life by a magnificent Moravcik header, which thundered in off the crossbar in the 66th minute to hand Celtic a 1-0 victory. Headed goals were few and far between for the Slovakian, but this goal was one that any fine header of the ball would be proud of.

The match was watched by 22,000 people and Celtic failed to sell even half of their allocation. It’s a reminder of how far we’ve come, as the Hoops have the chance to go 13 points clear at the top of the table this afternoon, all the while boasting sold out allocations for every game.
