Scotland’s dominant first half performance – inspired by Celtic’s Anthony Ralston – against Armenia in the UEFA Nations League, clearly got the better of the visitors as this video captured by the Premier Sports camera shows. The Armenian player is seen picking up a bottle and throwing it in the direction of the assistant referee -linesman in old money – after a third Scotland goal which was eventually ruled out for offside by the German VAR team handling this evening’s match.
That is incidental though and you would imagine that UEFA will take a very dim view of that reaction which is something new for most of us watching. Incredible really for a professional footballer to over-react in this way especially at international level.
