Davie Proven described Ryan Christie’s goal for Scotland as ‘wonderful‘ after the Celtic midfielder bent an effort into the top corner to give Scotland a half time lead versus Cyprus.

The Euro 2020 game is effectively a dead rubber as neither team can qualify from the group; however, that hasn’t stopped Christie from firing a special effort into the goal.

The strike was Christie’s first for Scotland on his tenth appearances for Scotland.

The Celtic midfielder has been in free-scoring form this season with 12 goals in 28 appearances for Neil Lennon’s side this season.
