Scott Brown was recalled to the Celtic starting XI this evening and it was the 35-year-old that opened the scoring at Rugby Park. Turnbull’s corner was met with the head of Brown, who angled his corner into the net, beating Doyle in the Killie nets.

Brown will be hoping to galvanise this Celtic team into a run of form in what has been an enormously disappointing season. The midfielder’s contract expires in the summer and he will be keen to showcase that he still has the ability to influence games.
