Carl Starfelt is in quarantine having completed his £4.2m move from Rubin Kazan to Celtic during the week. The 26-year-old Swedish defender replaces Kris Ajer in the Celtic defence with the Norwegian moving to Brentford. Fans are eagerly waiting for Starfelt’s debut, which may be next weekend against Hearts at Tynecastle.

The player has, however, updated fans with what to expect on his Instagram page detailing his ‘best bits’ with goals and tackles.

Celtic are looking at signing a couple more players in the coming days as Ange Postecoglou looks to have his side take shape. Today’s game against West Ham will be the last pre-season fixture before facing Midtjylland in the second leg on Wednesday before travelling to Edinburgh to face Robbie Neilson’s Hearts in the Premiership opener.
